If you hire someone that does not have this certification, you put yourself at risk for fines and can also be liable for damage, and privacy rights claims. The FAA has issued civil fines over $25,000 and criminal fines up to $250,000! What is the turnaround time for real estate photography?
When you place your order, you will be advised of the expected turnaround for your service. For example, real estate photos are typically delivered within 24 hours of the end of our shoot. Videos take a little longer to be edited and delivered. If you are in a rush, we can get real estate photos turned around as soon as noon the next day for a small fee.
How does photo and video editing work?
Photo and video editing services are available for all real estate photography assignments. If you want to edit the videos and photos on your own, that’s ok! Your company may have an in-house creative director or other people that do this already. We are happy to work with you. However, if you don’t have anyone to edit for you, we will be happy to discuss your editing needs.
Can I post the aerial videos to the web?
Generally, yes, you can post the content we create for you to the web, social media channels, etc. The terms will be outlined in your licensing agreement. We have general terms available here, but the license for your footage is negotiable. Keep in mind that we create custom, edited video productions with licensed music as well. Just let us know what you need and we will get it done for you!
Photography licensing is something that not many photographers talk about, so I will give you a brief synopsis of what this means. Let’s say you want to use the photos we capture for you in print advertising. We will give you a usage license for this. Let’s say you also want to use a video we produce for you on your website. The photo and video files will be licensed for use according to a written licensing agreement (contract). Keep this in mind if you plan on using images for print, websites, product catalogs, or commercial real estate listings – we want to give you what you need – just ask!
What about insurance?
